About Nina & Tom

Dear nina and tom Customer,

We'd like to welcome and thank you for taking the time to visit our store.

We are a family run business based out the college town of Davis, in Northern California. Living just 10 minutes from some of the richest farmland on the planet, it is a constant reminder of how important our world is and how our actions effect it. We do our best to bring what is wonderful in life to our products and take great pride that we are, nina and tom.

But as any small business owner knows, in order to make the business succeed, all must work, hand in hand and share the various tasks. That is why we labor together in all aspects of the business. We do everything, from coming up with our latest ideas for new products, to the actual production of our t-shirts. Nina designs the ideas and dyes the 100% organic shirts, while Tom then moves forward and manually screenprints them (calling himself, the factory worker). Our boys help out too. Whether it's cleaning up in the workshop, making the hang tags, shipping out orders, or as constant inspiration, they are very much a part of nina and tom.

We also feel community is important. That is why you can find us at our store in Downtown Davis, or every Saturday (weather permitting) at our local farmers' market, or visit our blog A Monkey on the Roof to find out what we're doing when we're not printing shirts.
