	October 08's Cutie(s)-of-the-Month Congratulations to Rihely, Maklin and Quentin for being nina and tom's October Cutie(s)-of-the-Month. Their mom Heather shares some sweet things about them: "Rihely's favorite book right now is Pinkalicious....Macklin and Quentin enjoy Goodnight Moon.  Every morning, Rihely religiously eats her "empeal" (aka maple and brown sugar oatmeal).  They boys enjoy their own baby version of 'empeal' and applesauce.  Her favorite activity is dancing. Currently she is taking a jazz dance class and loves it.  To quote Rihely, 'if you say please, I'll show you my moves.'  The boys are just sitting up so they enjoy hitting one another with various toys or cruising in their exersaucer 'cars.'   My dad, Grandpa Jeff from Davis, bought Rihely her first N&T shirt in 2005. Since then he has added I Eat My Veggies, Yellow and Banana to her collection.  When the boys were born he gave them the "I'm the little brother shirts".  Rihley is an awesome Big Sister and has really embraced the role!!!  She wears her shirt with pride!" 	August 08's Cutie(s)-of-the-Month Congratulations to Wyatt and Cole of Honeoye Falls, New York for being nina and tom's August 2008 Cutie(s)-of-the-Month.  Wyatt, who is wearing our “Blue Color Theory” shirt, loves to play soccer and says, “Hey-guess what?...I really love you.” And Cole, wearing our “Red Color Theory” shirt, loves to eat Pirate Booty and visiting the Pirate Museum in the Bahamas…Aeerrr! The brothers have almost every color in our “Color Theory” shirts with Wyatt’s favorite being the Yellow one and Cole’s being Red. 	July 08's Cutie(s)-of-the-Month Congratulations to Charlie and Loreley  for being nina and tom's July 08's Cutie(s)-of-the-Month. Their mom Kristin says, "Charlie and Loreley are both members of the Clean Plate Club and will happily eat just about anything we serve to them.  I've seen swiss chard, lemony lentils, spicy noodles, and kimchi eaten with relish.  But, their day would be incomplete without oatmeal.  Loreley loves The Very Hungry Caterpillar and all of the Wow! series by Robert Neubecker.  Charlie likes any book about cars.  And, we all adore Mem Fox's Whoever You Are.  At three-and-a-half, Charlie's favorite saying and activity is 'Look!  I want to show you.'  He'll happily drag us around the house, yard, or park pointing out items great and small.  Loreley, three, loves to sing and will complete phrases in her favorite songs (Java Jive, Cupid, and Shop Around).  Recently, she's taken to saying 'Found it!' whenever she spies something of interest. Because the kids are 'virtual twins', I sometimes treat myself to a look-alike outfit.  Their N&T veggie and fruit t-shirts are perfect.  They're of the same style, but not exactly the same.  Folks generally connect with one of the shirts and let the kids know, 'Ooooh, I like fruit/veggies too!' 	June 08's Cutie(s)-of-the-Month Congratulations to (L to R) Connor, Tommy, Ryan, J.T. and Jason for being nina and tom's June 08's Cutie(s)-of-the-Month. Super Mom and Cool Aunt Christine writes: "We found nina and tom at the Davis Farmers' Market and instantly fell in love.  Since our 2 older boys are completely obsessed with their favorite colors (Jason is all about blue and Ryan all about purple), the "Color Theory" shirts got our attention right away.  "Skelator" is also one of our family favorites and the boys wear "Skelator" whenever they play "rock band" (which is often!).  Jason (5), Ryan (3), and Connor (1) always feel great pride wearing their "I'm This Many" shirts...they just love having their age emblazoned upon their chests!  When our cousins JT and Tommy were turning 4 and 2, we knew just what to get them.  This picture was taken at JT and Tommy's birthday party last month.  Everyone who saw the 5 of them running around in their number shirts couldn't help but smile - it really was funny! So thanks nina and tom for designing shirts that our kids LOVE.  No more struggles to get dressed in the morning - it's more just a question of WHICH n&t shirt will we choose today!" 	May 08's Cutie-of-the-Month Congratulations to Anya, from Winters, CA for being nina and tom's May 08's Cutie-of-the-Month. Her mom Kristen writes: "Anya’s favorite foods are bananas and carrots.  She also loves cheerios, we have to keep an eye on her or she’ll open the canister by herself and stuff a bunch in her mouth.  Her favorite book is Sweet Dreams, Polar Bear by Mindy Dwyer.  Her Great Grandparents brought it from Alaska when Anya was just an infant.  Anya’s favorite place is in our backyard, she loves to crawl on a blanket in the grass and soar in her swing while staring at the sky and trees.  Swinging is one of her favorite things to do, whether at the house or the park.  She also loves to take baths, go for walks, and play with her red Spongebob Squarepants bouncy ball!  Her favorite things to say are Mama and Dada, but it seems as if she has her own language, and we think a couple of other words have come out, but we don’t quite know what they were!!   Our favorite nina and tom shirt is the “I’m Like, Totally Organic” lap-t.  Anya wears it at least twice a week; in fact I think her Daddy likes it the most.  Every time he dresses her, she’s got that shirt on!  It gets a lot of compliments from friends, family, and total strangers.  We always call Anya organic since she was naturally born, is cloth diapered and fed organic foods.  We are very proud to have her wear this shirt and it means a lot to us.  Plus, she looks cute in it. 	April 08's Cutie-of-the-Month Congratulations to Xela Rose from Cambridge, Massachusetts for being our April 08's Cutie-of-the-Month. Her mom Pam writes: "Xela (pronounced Shay-la) loves to eat most everything. Right now she's really into fruit: apples, juicy oranges, and sour lemons! She loves books (she tries to eat them, too) especially books about animals. She grooves to rock'n'roll and world music (Manu Chao always gets her bopping to the beat.) Her favorite place is home, where she is usually found playing with her books, toys and the 2 kitties she loves. But a close second is her best buddy Cyrus's house. Xela is a city girl: she likes riding the subway, playing in nearby parks, and meeting friends for tea. She loves dogs and she loves her Nanny, Nirmala. In her spare time, Xela enjoys updating her blog, where she shares her adventures and stays connected to friends and family around the world. Xela's favorite (and first) nina and tom shirt is the big red NumberOne she wore on her birthday. Xela spent her first 8 months in Guatemala, with many ups and downs along the way on her journey. Now that she's finally home with her 'forever family' we wanted to celebrate Xela's birthday in style; nina and tom's simple, comfy and eco-friendly shirt fit the bill perfectly." 	March 08’s Cutie-of-the-Month Congratulations to Fiona Bridget (wearing ABC's), age 4, of Alameda, California for being our March 08’s Cuite-of-the-Month. While living in Northern California’s Bay Area on the island of Alameda, Fiona is the girl on the go.  She enjoys being at school (painting is here favorite activity) and playing at various parks (she always welcomes new playmates). Fiona is also a giver, she participates in various charity events with the Alameda Chapter of Kiwanis. She couldn’t do it with out her assistants, Mommy and Grammy. In her downtime, she enjoys watching The History Channel with Daddy.  She knows all about trains and battleships.  Her favorite food is pasta and her favorite book is Dinosaurumpus! Her favorite nina and tom shirt is Spring Chicken. Fiona’s mom Georgia tells us, “When she got the new Spring Chicken and Carrot shirts in the mail, she immediately insisted on putting them on and going outside to show the world, despite the fact that it was 50 degrees outside.  She refused to put a jacket on because it would cover up her shirt.  The next day she insisted on wearing the shirt to school so she could show her teacher, Ms. Kim, because 'she will just love it!'." 	February 08's Cutie(s)-of-the- Month Happy February and Valentine’s Day Everyone! Congratulations to The Ogus Brothers, Zane; 5.5, Bram, 3.5; Jack, 18 months from Ontario, Canada for being our February 08's Cutie(s)-of- the-Month   The Ogus brothers love meatballs! They also love Kit Kat chocolate bars. Zane wants it known that he only drinks soymilk and hates apples. Bram wants it known that he doesn’t drink soy milk but loves apples. Jack will eat anything and everything you put in front of him. Some of their favorite books are The Gruffalo, Flat Stanely, and Choose Your Own Adventure chapter books. In their downtime, the brothers enjoy their family cottage where Zane and Bram love to downhill ski. They all love to make smores and spend time with their cousins. In the warmer weather, all three boys love to swim. Their mom Rina loves to take pictures of them (hence her nickname “Momarazzi”). Zane and Bram use the term “actually” quite a bit and Jack likes to say, “No.” When we asked Rina about how she heard about nina and tom, she tells us  “…I can’t actually remember, it was sooooo many shirts ago…currently, we get the most complements on Bram’s “I’m like totally organic” shirt – but when the boys wore their 3 “I’m this many...” shirts all at once, they were a tremendous hit! They each also have the “Dreidle, Dreidle, Dreidle” shirt which they wore to the family Chanukah parties (unfortunately, I couldn’t catch them all in one place to snap a photo of that).” Oh, but you got a great photo of them in their “I’m This Many…” shirts Rina, they look great. 	January 08's Cutie(s)-of-the-Month A Happy New Year and Congratulations to Jerah and Job from Winters, California for being our January 08's Cutie(s)-of-the-Month! Jerah and Job enjoy ringing in the new year by doing some of their favorite things, such as, eating (their favorites are Brussel Sprouts and Bananas), reading From Head to Toe by Eric Carle, being outdoors and hanging out with their best friend Shawn.  Their favorite thing to say is "Mama, Mama!" Mama Megan has this to say about nina and tom, "...I love the spud shirt...I first saw you guys at the Davis Farmers market.  I loved the veggies shirts and after eyeing them for months and finally broke down and got some." 	November 07's Cutie-of-the-Month Congratulations to Payton from Jacksonville, Florida for being nina and tom's November Cutie-of-the Month Payton is a busy girl down in Florida. Her favorite activity is to play and feed her sock animals, monkey and kitty (her favorite saying is, “Kitty.”).  When she is outside, her favorite place is the swimming pool, Payton loves to swim and blow bubbles.  In her downtime, Payton enjoys reading the classic and preferred book Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? by Eric Carle, while snacking on cheese, Cherrios and blueberry applesauce.  Here mom Amanda has this to say about nina and tom: “We heard about nina and tom's adorable clothing line through the Celebrity Baby Blog…as soon as we saw these adorable, well-made shirts, we were hooked!  Every time that Payton wears her nina and tom shirt, she gets so many compliments!  Not only are nina and tom's shirts adorable, they are of the highest quality and wear very well...nina and tom now have customers for life!  Our favorite clothing item ever is nina and tom's  "Pink" Organic Color Theory Shirt...she loves it (as do I) and wears it all the time!  Thank goodness we bought it in the next size also! 	October 07's Cutie-of-the-Month Congratulations to Jack from Concord, New Hampshire for being nina and tom's October Cutie-of-the Month Date of Birth: May 18, 2006 His dad writes: "Jack is not a picky eater at all, and he loves to use his only real word, "cracker," to get not only crackers but avocado, spaghetti, and kalamata olives. Between meals, he loves to read books, especially "Where is Baby's Bellybutton?" and "Goodnight, Gorilla." We discovered this summer that Jack loves the water, and plays in it as much as possible--gotta get in it during the summer, as there's not much chance to swim in New Hampshire in the winter! Jack doesn't really know many words yet, but he loves to give speeches and tell jokes anyway, even while he practices his brand-new skill of walking without help. Oh, and he loves to sleep, as well, which makes mom and dad really happy. And fittingly enough, Jack does indeed eat his fruit." Oh yeah, he forgot to mention, that he and Jack's mom are named Nina and Tom too. What a hoot! "Happy birthday to us, happy birthday to us!!! We are so happy to be nina and tom’s Cuties-of-the Month! Here are a couple of photos of our playgroup’s joint one-year birthday party. We decided to celebrate this very special occasion with a BBQ and potluck at the park while wearing our favorite nina and tom shirts 'I am this many…1'! Our playgroup began when a group of mommies met at Mother and Baby Source, a local store in Davis, CA that hosts a weekly meeting for all new moms in the area. Soon, we began taking walks together at the Davis Arboretum, having playgroups at each other’s homes, and even crashing local coffee shops! Along the way, other mommies with babies around the same age also joined the group. There are now around 20 of us in the playgroup who were born between May and August of 2006. With such a boisterous (and ever more mobile) clan, our weekly playgroups have moved from our homes to local parks! We continue sharing fun times with each other. Many of us have attended different classes together such as music, swimming, baby sign language, and gymnastics. Some of our recent activities include going to the zoo and attending the local county fair. We expect the coming years to bring our families more shared adventures and happy memories. Before we know it, we’ll be celebrating our second birthdays together wearing nina and tom’s 'I am this many…2' shirts!"   Thanks so much you guys. 	August 07's Cutie-of-the-Month Evan From Nova Scotia, Canada Date of Birth: January 5, 2005 Congratulations Evan for being nina and tom's August 07's Cutie-of-the-Month Applause...Applause Speech...Speech HELLO!!! everyone. My name is Evan, and here are a few of my favourite things. 1. I like all kinds of food - especially anything on someone else's plate. My mama and dada call me the Human Garborator. 2. I like any book with TWAINS!! 3. My favourite place is the beach, or the 'pwaygwound', or brunch at the Kiwi Cafe in the seaside village where we live. I hop in the door and everybody says "IT'S EVAN!!" and the ladies bring me whatever I want. It's 'gweat'. 4. The most special thing about me is that I'm so very social and happy and I'm an adventurer. I'll go anywhere and do anything and I'm very brave and kind. 5. My newest favourite thing, aside from 'big brudder pwesents', is my new baby brother Ben. He farts, and he grunts, and he bites mama's boobie, and that's all so very funny. That's why I got this new t-shirt from the nice people, because I'm the best big brudder EVER and my mama and dada are so proud of me.   That's all. Evan. Thank you Evan. 	July 07's Cutie(s)-of-the-Month Lucy, Eric "Eli" and Jack Stuart From Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida Dates of Birth: October 7, 2005, August 4, 2004 and July 18, 2002 Congratulations Lucy, Eli and Jack, you’re nina and tom’s July 07's Cutie(s)-of-the-Month Their Mom Krissy Says: “Jack, Eli, and Lucy live at the beach and love being outside and in the water!  They love visiting their Nana and Papa at their house on the beach, eating lunch or dinner outside while watching the waves.  Lucy loves Edamame and Bananas, while Jack is into pasta.  Eli is a fruit man, often wearing his “I Eat My Fruit” t-shirt.  His favorite fruit is a whole red apple!  Eli is two and half years old and he loves saying “Yes Way!”  Lucy is 1 1/2 and tries hard to keep up with her big brothers. Jack will turn FIVE this month and he loves all animals, especially reptiles!  Jack also just started playing the piano, and like his brother and sister – he loves to DANCE and SING to his favorite tunes!  All the kids love to check out the snakes at the zoo and the alligators at the Alligator Farm near their house.  Everyone LOVES swimming and playing outside and Jack is teaching Lucy and Eli how to hunt for lizards! 	June 07's Cutie(s)-of-the Month Matthew and Ella From Saint Augustine, Florida Dates of Birth:  April 10, 2002 and June 13, 2005 Congratulations Matthew and Ella, you’re nina and tom’s June 07's Cutie(s)-of-the-Month This brother and sister look too cute wearing their nina and tom t-shrits . They love to play outside; swinging and messing around in their tent, then sitting at their table eating their favorite snacks (Matthew loves his organic squeeze yogurt, while Ella’s favorite is organic black eyed peas). When they are not outside, these two enjoy reading and other activities. Currently, Matthew reads any book that has sharks in it and loves to talk about his pet snake Sebastain (shhh…don’t tell him but it’s imaginary), who lives under the slide and swing set. While Ella prefers any one of her Baby Einstein books and loves to call everything “A Baby” (her first words were, “It’s a baby.”). Their mom heard about nina and tom last June from Celebrity Baby Blog and called that same day, to get Ella her “I’m This Many…1” birthday t-shirt.  She states, “I am totally in love with the ‘I’m This Many…’ tees! Not only are they the cutest on my kids but they are hands down the best birthday gifts ever!” She also says, “Every time Matthew and Ella are out together in their “Color Theory” t-shirts, we always get stopped and asked about them. 	May 07's Cutie-of-the Month Brady From San Jose, California Date of Birth: January 12, 2006 Congratulations to Brady for being nina and tom’s May 07's Cutie-of-the-Month Brady is wearing the always popular “I Eat My Vegetables”, even though his food of choice is Cheese Pizza, but who’s isn’t? And his first word was “Apple”. His favorite place to be is in the pool where he loves to go swimming. When he’s not in the pool, you can also find Brady playing,  “Let’s go find the kitties!” and chasing them. To relax he wears any one of his comfy and soft organic cotton nina and tom t-shirts while he enjoys a little T.V. or reading his favorite books, Five Little Pumpkins and My First Kitten. His mom found nina and tom at a Whole Foods Grocery Store, and bought more on line.  She says, “We love holidays, so Brady has his Halloween, Hanukkah, Christmas and his 1st Birthday shirts.  What’s next? 	April 07's Cutie-of-the Month Dylan From Honolulu, Hawaii Date of Birth: August 19, 2005 Congratulations to Dylan for being nina and tom’s first Cutie-of-the Month.   In typical Hawaiian style, Dylan enjoys playing outside and having fun. His favorite activities are playing with his Daddy and two dogs, Kea and Lehua, feeding the birds and getting wet in the fountain.
